Music at Tresanton
In 2006 seven musicians gathered in the small village of St Mawes, on the tip of the Roseland peninsula, to mark Schumann’s 150th anniversary by playing through all of his chamber music with piano. Since then Music at Tresanton has been offering annual programmes and attracting audiences from the Roseland peninsula as well as from further afield in Cornwall and the UK, and has been broadcast by BBC radio 3 as part of their lunch time concert series.
The 2013 festival, only Mozart, will take place between 8 – 10 November 2013 and will present sonatas, duos, trios and quartets by W.A. Mozart, performed by Noam Greenberg and the Ardeo String Quartet.

“Will you walk a little faster?”
Said a whiting to a snail,
“There’s a porpoise close behind us,
And he’s treading on my tail.
See how eagerly the lobsters
And the turtles all advance!
They are waiting on the shingle -
Will you come and join the dance?
Will you, won’t you, will you,
Won’t you, will you join the dance?
Will you, won’t you, will you,
Won’t you, won’t you join the dance?
