In 2008 we will expand our musical activities to two events,

one in the spring (24 April) and one in the winter (7-9 November).

We hope you will be able to join us for some wonderful music in the special atmosphere of the St Mawes Methodist Chapel.

The rate in April is £175 per person for 1 night.

The rate in November is £370 per person for 2 nights (single occ. supplement £170)

(to include accommodation, breakfast, dinner and best seats at the concerts)

Should any guests wish to stay an extra night in November,

we are offering a special bed and breakfast rate of £150 for double occupancy on Sunday night, 9th November.

By now a Tresanton tradition, the winter Music Weekend will present a rich programme of concerts and pre-concert talks, this time focusing on the life and works of Claude Debussy. The varied programme will include all of Debussy’s chamber works, as well as music by some of his most admired composers – Rameau, Bach, Mozart, Chopin, Schumann, and Stravinsky.  And on Sunday actor Samuel West will be joining us in the Methodist Chapel for readings from Debussy’s letter.

As always, at Christmas and New Year there will be traditional celebrations at Tresanton, including champagne, dancing, stockings & presents, crackers and entertainment both for adults and children.  The real Father Christmas always visits Tresanton during Christmas Lunch.
